Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on vinode.io, what each one does, and how you control them. It applies to the vinode.io website operated by Prographers Sp. z o.o. (“Vinode”, “we”, “us”).

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores on your device. We also use closely related technologies that this policy treats the same way: local and session storage (data the browser keeps for our scripts) and third-party scripts that can set their own cookies, such as the tools embedded on our forms and our analytics tags. Where we say “cookies” below, we mean all of these.

We do not use advertising pixels, device fingerprinting, or social media tracking widgets on vinode.io.

2. How we ask for your consent

When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences to choose category by category. Until you make a choice, everything except strictly necessary cookies stays switched off: our tags load through Google Tag Manager under Google Consent Mode, which starts in a denied state, so no analytics or marketing cookie is set before you agree. No box is pre-ticked. Rejecting is one click, the same as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time (see section 6).

3. Cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories. Only the first is used without your consent, because the site cannot work safely without it. The others are set only after you opt in to that category.

Strictly necessary (always on)

Needed to keep the site secure, remember your cookie choice, and let our enquiry forms work. Under UK/EU rules these are exempt from consent, as they are essential to a service you request.

vinode_attr_sessionVinode (first-party)Remembers where your current visit started (e.g. the search or campaign that referred you) so that source can travel with an enquiry you choose to submit. Not used for cross-site tracking.Session storage · cleared when you close the tab

Analytics (off until you accept)

Helps us understand which pages are used and how visitors arrive, so we can improve the site and credit the marketing source of an enquiry. No analytics cookie is set unless you opt in here.

NameProviderPurposeType & duration
_ga, _ga_<id>Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd), loaded via Google Tag ManagerDistinguishes visitors and keeps analytics session state to measure page usage. See Google’s privacy information.Cookie · up to 2 years

Loads only after you accept this category. See Hotjar’s privacy policy.Cookie · session (30 min) to 1 year

Marketing (off until you accept)

Measures whether our advertising works (for example, which ad led to an enquiry). These cookies are set only if you opt in here and an advertising tag is active on the site.

NameProviderPurposeType & duration
_gcl_au (and related Google Ads cookies)Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd)Conversion measurement — links a visit to an ad click so a resulting enquiry can be attributed. See Google’s privacy information.Cookie · up to 90 days

Functional (off until you accept)

This category is reserved for cookies that remember optional preferences, such as a chosen language. We do not currently set any functional cookies; if we add one, it will appear here and load only once you turn this category on.

4. Legal basis

We rely on your consent (UK PECR / EU ePrivacy, and Article 6(1)(a) UK/EU GDPR) for analytics, marketing, and functional cookies. That consent is specific to each category, asked for before the cookies load, and as easy to withdraw as it was to give. For strictly necessary cookies we do not ask for consent, because they are required to deliver the site and keep it secure, which is a service you have requested.

5. Third parties and international transfers

Some cookies and data are handled by companies that act for us:

  • Google — analytics and, where enabled, ad conversion measurement. Google may process data outside the EEA/UK under Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US / UK data bridge.
  • Hotjar provides aggregated heatmaps and anonymised session insights, loaded only if you accept the Analytics category. Hotjar may process data outside the EEA/UK under Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Cloudflare — bot protection on our forms.
  • HubSpot — our CRM. When you submit an enquiry, the details you enter (and the marketing source above) are sent to HubSpot so we can reply and manage the request. This happens because you submitted the form, not through browsing cookies, and involves a transfer to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Managing or withdrawing your consent

Use the “Manage cookies” link in the footer on any page to reopen the banner and change your choices, or to withdraw a category you previously accepted. Withdrawing takes effect straight away for new cookies; to clear cookies already stored, use your browser controls below.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. These pages explain how:

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the enquiry forms, from working.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever we add or remove a tracker, and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes are reflected in the consent banner so returning visitors can review their choices.
