Does Vinode need an app, or does it work in the browser?

Short answer

It works in any browser, with no app and no download. Buyers just open a link and the experience runs, the same way on desktop, tablet and phone, because the 3D is pre-rendered and streamed as video instead of running on their device. The only standalone app is an offline sales-office kiosk that your team runs in person, and buyers never install anything.

One link, every device

You send buyers a link and it opens in a normal browser tab. There is nothing to install, no plugin, and no app-store client to approve. It works the same on a desktop, a tablet, and a phone because the 3D is pre-rendered ahead of time and streamed to the browser as video, rather than being computed on the buyer's device.

Because the buyer's phone is not doing the heavy rendering, the experience does not depend on how powerful that phone is. That is also why a page opens in about two seconds and stays usable on low-powered phones.

The one exception

The only version of Vinode that runs as a standalone app is the offline sales-office kiosk. Your team runs it in person, with a presentation mode that needs no internet. Buyers never download or install anything.
