What's the difference between Vinode and a virtual tour?

Short answer

A virtual tour is stitched together from photos of a real, finished room, so it can only exist once the space is built. Vinode is a 3D experience that works off-plan, before anything is built, and it lets buyers filter the available units, pick one, walk the interiors, and download a personalized PDF. A photo tour of a single finished room can't do any of that.

A photo tour needs a built room

A virtual tour starts with a camera. Someone photographs a space that already exists, then the panoramas are stitched together. That is the catch off-plan: there is no room to point the camera at yet. A buyer deciding before construction has nothing to look at unless the space is modeled instead of photographed, which is what Vinode does.

What Vinode adds

A photo tour shows one finished room and stops there. Vinode is built around the whole development, so the buyer is not just looking, they are choosing. They narrow the available units down to the ones that fit their budget, floor, or view, then walk the interior of the exact unit they would actually buy. When they leave, they take a PDF of that specific home with them to share with a partner or an agent. A single-room panorama has nothing to filter, no unit to pick, and no per-buyer document to hand over. That shift, from viewing a room to selecting a home, is the real difference between the two formats.

Does that mean Vinode has no 360°?

No. Vinode generates its own 360° and interior views from the 3D model. The difference is where those views sit: inside a filterable, unit-aware experience that works off-plan, not as a standalone panorama of one finished room.

When a photo tour still fits

Once a project reaches handover and the show units are actually built, a photo tour becomes a genuine option again. The two rarely compete for the same stage. Vinode is the off-plan tool, and a photo tour is for a finished space. For a fuller comparison, see interactive 3D vs virtual tour vs video.
